Christine & Stephen’s Prague Destination Wedding Photography

If I had to use only one word to describe Christine & Stephen’ wedding it would be: romantic.

With their church ceremony at Prague’s historic St. Nicholas Church and their reception and dinner at the Mandarin Oriental it was a truly unforgettable wedding day for the lovely couple who traveled over from Chicago with their family & friends. Everything about this wedding was well thought out down to the last details. And yes ladies – those are Manolo Blahnik, the same shoes worn by Carrie in ‘Sex and the City’. Though I have to say I am more of a fan of Christine’s very stylish wedding dress  – but that is purely a guy’s perspective.

Stephen is quite an accomplished composer – he created a beautiful piece of music ‘Our day in Paris’ that was performed during their wedding ceremony and later during the reception. Seeing them both standing there and watching their reaction to the music he scored was priceless.

Knowing their love of music it was truly fate that a gorgeous (and valued at six figures) baby grand Petrov was available near the ballroom. After speaking with Lucie Hola, truly the best banquet manager in Prague – we were able to move it for a memorable photo. I always strive to create something a bit special for each of our couples and I truly appreciate the staff at the Mandarin Oriental – they are always open to my ideas! Being able to create some stylish images of Christine & Stephen at a piano such as that one was simply too much to resist. Thanks again to the Mandarin Oriental, truly the best place in Prague to hold a wedding reception.

Later after a wonderful dinner and some dancing we stole away some time from the guests to create some portraits around Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. And just when you thought it could not get anymore romantic – a dazzling fireworks display lit up the night as we stood atop the castle steps. Truly a wonderful way to top off a stunning wedding day for two very deserving people!

To Christine & Stephen, thank you both for choosing me to be your wedding photographer – I truly hope you enjoy the small sample of images presented here. I wish you both much love and success in your future together!  And I look forward to meeting you both again.
