Kathy & Eric – A Prague Destination Wedding

Congratulations to Kathy & Eric, a wonderful couple who traveled over from Hong Kong to marry here in Prague!
Kathy & Eric were pleasantly surprised when they walked through the main doors of Prague’s Old Town Hall as newlyweds to hundreds of cheering people in the town square who had moments earlier witnessed the Astronomical Clock hourly show. It is always a nice touch when the crowd welcomes newlyweds into the world and as you can see from their reaction they and their family really enjoyed it.
As the weather was so beautiful we traveled around the centre of Prague for some sightseeing and some picture taking.
Kathy & Eric, like many of our couple’s – enjoy the idea of having pictures taken at the John Lennon Wall, so we decided to go there and have some fun at this popular Mala Strana spot.
Our newlyweds were the last couple that we photographed at the John Lennon Wall. That night someone defaced the entire length of the wall with a political statement. Sadly, it may take years before we go back there again as the slogan is too huge too ignore.
This being Prague with it’s beautiful architecture we wanted to create something special for Kathy & Eric. As we were taking a picture of them along the waterway in Kampa Park a tourist boat pulled along side us and naturally the tourists were also taking pictures of our newlyweds. I don’t know, maybe it is just me, but I really like the image of them along the waterway, it is a quiet moment that I think best sums up Kathy & Eric.
Congratulations to Kathy & Eric, I wish you both much love & success in your future together! And perhaps one day I will finally make it to Hong Kong and visit with so many wonderful couples from there like yourself.
